Hello, I’m Daniel — a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead who enjoys building systems that stay up, stay fast, and don’t surprise anyone at 3 a.m.

I specialise in backend engineering with Java and the Spring ecosystem, working extensively with microservices, event streaming, and cloud infrastructure. I’ve led the design and delivery of distributed systems in fintech and large financial platforms, where precision, scalability, and resilience are non-negotiable.

Beyond hands-on development, I take an active role in technical leadership: guiding architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, setting engineering standards, and working closely with product and stakeholders to ship reliable systems.

I believe good software is boring in production, interesting in design, and clear in intent. I care about clean architecture, strong engineering culture, and writing code that still makes sense a year from now.
